Jo Malone advertisement Top perfume brand advertisements Alexander Mcqueen advertisements I'm extremely excited about this assignment. I did work experience with a jeweler called 'Chupi'. An absolutely fabulous brand. When I worked with Chupi, I sat in on a photo shoot. they brought in a hand model who was going to model the rings and bracelets. I didn't realize how much thought went into it and for such a simple outcome. A lot of inspiration coming my way for this assignment. I will put a lot of thought into it. I think at the moment I am heading in the direction of perfume. why? because a lot of the ads are very out there and different. Very unique and I'd like go big.
Portrait Assignment
Split Lighting Here I have captured what is called a split lighting photo. It consists of half the face in shadow and half in light. This light could be natural or from a lampshade of some sort. As you can probably tell, I went with a dark room and lampshade. Straight down the middle of the face, there is a sharp change from the shadow. After studying this image, one thing I would've done differently is, I should've pulled the light away from the model's face more so it wasn't pure white at the very right side of her face. Overall though, I am happy with the image. Rembrandt lighting Here I captured a Rembrandt image. This consisted of only 1/3 of the face in light and the rest in shadow. The Rembrandt image is rather similar to the broad shot, the only difference is, the lampshade in broad lighting is placed in the opposite place.
